Calcium salts are derived from minerals, so heavy metals are the most important safety parameter. As an ISO HACCP certified calcium factory in China, we control them at three levels.
1. Raw materials
Limestone, oyster shell and acids are purchased from qualified suppliers and tested on arrival.
2. Process
Food grade stainless-steel equipment, purification steps and closed conveying prevent contamination.
3. Testing
Every batch is tested for lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium, and the results are reported on the CoA.
